DJDC Productions Partners with Becky Steffens Photography; Offers Complete Event Day Services

Ann Arbor, MI – [February 25, 2019] – DJDC Productions, LLC will begin a partnership with Becky Steffens Photography, LLC to offer its clients a more robust selection of event services.

Starting August 1st, 2019, the two companies will partner to enhance DJDC Productions’ already impressive list of event day amenities. These features include DJ services, photography packages, dancefloor lighting, up-lighting, ceremony/cocktail hour audio, photobooth, and a Ring Roamer.

Becky Steffens Photography is an established wedding and portrait photography company based in the Metro Detroit area and offers multiple photographers to capture a wide variety of styles and genres.  Focusing on a photojournalistic approach, Becky Steffens Photography veers away from static, posed photography and centers around capturing the event in a natural, but directed, approach.

By combining forces, DJDC Productions allows its clients to bundle services and save.  Customers will have the ability to save $250 on packages when booking DJ services and Photography together within DJDC Productions.

When asked why DJDC Productions decided to partner with Becky Steffens Photography, Derrick Castenholz, owner of DJDC Productions replied, “It just makes sense.  Many people are hiring both DJ and photography services for an event- so why not make the process easy, and allow them to save money at the same time.”

Becky Steffens, owner of Becky Steffens Photography, continued by saying “The relationship between photographer and DJ is so important during events.  As a photographer, you depend on the DJ to communicate with you throughout the day and work with you in terms of lighting- but that doesn’t always happen. By teaming up with this amazing company- I know that I don’t have to worry about that any longer- and my clients will see the benefits in the photographs.”

“DJs Against Domestic Violence” Fundraiser for SafeHouse Center Recap | LIVE Nightclub

On February 16, 2019, DJDC Production’s hosted a “Safe & Sound” fundraiser for SafeHouse Center, held at LIVE Nightclub in Ann Arbor.

Seven DJs and two MCs from DJDC Productions entertained the dynamic crowd at LIVE with the help from the nightclub’s amazing sound tech. Between the club’s remarkable sound system and incredible lighting- DJDC Productions was able to raise $521 in donations for SafeHouse Center- an organization that provides support for those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault.

“We do this event because we love the organization, and we love entertaining,” says Derrick Castenholz, owner of DJDC Productions.  “Quan, one of our MCs, jumped down into the crowd and started teaching everyone how to line dance. And when a 25 person bachelorette party came in- our DJs switched up their style to accommodate the group,” he says.

This is the second time that DJDC Productions has hosted the “DJs Against Domestic Violence” charity event, and they look forward to their continued partnership with the organization. “This is just a tiny part of the support that they need and deserve,” Derrick says, “And we are honored to be able to help in the only way we know how- through the use of music.”
